This happens with both Shaw and Telus in my area, but I know for sure Shaw specifically has RF signal issues, I have an attenuator on that connection at the moment to alleviate it. More specifically in Overwatch my animations on abilities play twice quite frequently & the new Call of Duty if I throw a grenade the animations plays twice as well. If I try to play games (shooters) I get rubber banding on enemy & ally movement. I was just wondering what course of action I should take to further investigate/solve the problem. I tried 2 Windows 10 PCs and a Macbook with 3 different ethernet cables and they all showed 1% loss consistently on that IP. I ran many MTRs after specifically pinging 192.168.1.254 and the 1% loss showed every time. | - 1 | 1365 | 1363 | 22 | 22 | 39 | 22 |īoth tests oddly showed no packet loss on the first hop, but after more testing the 1% loss is definitely originating from 192.168.1.254. WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | I've done both 1s intervals & 0.1s intervals, with the same result. Now with Telus I've isolated the issue to the T3200M, it shows 1% packet loss when directly running an MTR to 192.168.1.254. I'll post more tests soon to better clarify my issue. My Shaw connection is a Node issue, and with their wait times apparently being 2-4 hours I'm going to wait until after Christmas to deal with it.ĮDIT: to clarify the tests below are to google, I ran separate tests I didn't post to the IP 192.168.1.254 directly still showing 1% loss. Hey everyone! I'm kinda in an unfortunate situation where I have both Shaw & Telus, and both connections have packet loss for different reasons.
